- Dr. Janet Mason, Superintendent of Rutherford County Schools, spoke about the Local Sales and Use Tax Referendum that will be on the November 8th ballot, explaining that Rutherford County residents will vote on a local sales and use tax increase of one-quarter percent. If passed, this tax increase will generate $1.2 million per year that will go toward the critical facility needs facing schools in Rutherford County.
- Jennifer Holland, PTO Chair, presented the PTO Fair Report.
- Kyla Bumgarner, Parent Involvement Coordination, made the Annual Title I Presentation.
- Ashley Porter, a representative of Pisgah Legal Services, was available to speak with parents about heath insurance not sponsored by Rutherford County Schools.
- Open House followed the meeting, giving parents the opportunity to visit their child's classroom and talk with the teacher.
